Environmental Education

The Abode Community's Green Committee meets monthly to educate members on reuse and recycling, best sustainable practices in energy conservation and the possibilities of sustainable energy production at the Abode.  Members from outside the community often join our meetings to share their ideas or to learn from our practices.

Flying Deer Nature Center has been mentoring children, teens and families in the ways of the Earth since 1995.  Drawing on the wisdom of Earth-based traditions to empower individuals through naturalist awareness and self-knowledge.
