"Souls Unite at the Meeting of a Glance"  A Retreat in Remembrance of Hazrat Inayat Khan with Gayatri Hull and friends

In this retreat, we will share memories of the Sufi Mystic Hazrat Inayat Khan, and through practices of meditation, contemplation, breath, remembrance (zikr), healing, silence, sound, music and song, trace him in ourselves. This retreat is a part of the weekend celebration for the day of passing (Urs) of Pir-O-Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan.

 

It is open to all who would like to remember the home of their soul, go deep within, and attune to their true self. In a safe and serene retreat setting, we will polish the mirror of the heart, follow the traces of our mystical lineage, and celebrate the union of souls at the meeting of a glance. All are invited to attend this retreat; no prior experience or Sufi Order affiliation required.

Gayatri Hull has been a practicing healer and a certified Raphaelite Work practitioner for many years. She is a representative and guide in the Sufi Order and a certified retreat guide and a Shefayat and healer in the Sufi Healing Order. She is a certified leader of the Dances of Universal Peace and has studied the Mevlevi Turn. She has given vocal concerts and workshops on healing, whirling, sound and the voice of life.

2:00 pm    URS Celebration and Rose Ceremony                

    We hope to have live stream and video from the Urs Celebration in India at

                 the Dargha of Murshid.  The Sufi Order International and Pir Zia are hosting

                 this year’s Urs and there will be many activities, wonderful classical Indian

                 and Turkish musicians and much more.  We are planning to see a glimpse

                 of this three day long celebration, connecting us with our brothers and

                 sisters from all over the world !  We end with our very traditional and sacred

                 Rose ceremony.
