The Abode has some of the freshest, most vibrant foods I ever had. The retreat cooks are amazing

Meals at the Abode

If you book your event here, the Abode will provide three vegetarian meals per day, beginning with dinner on the day of arrival and ending with lunch on the day of departure.  The Abode will also provide coffee for breakfast and a morning break, and hot water and tea bags will be available throughout the day in the dining room. The Abode will make every reasonable effort to accommodate the special dietary needs of the licensee provided notification is given to the Abode Kitchen Manager at least 30 days in advance of the first meal. 

Additional meal options are available upon request and for an additional fee – including meat meals containing chicken or fish, and desserts.  Meat meals are $7 per person; and desserts are $4 per person. 

Additional Coffee, beyond breakfast and the morning break, is an additional cost of $25 per day, being served up to 7:30 pm.

Mid-afternoon Snacks are available for an additional $30 fee, and are served around 4:00 pm.

Our head cook will consult with you on the menu for your program.  The menu must be finalized 30 days before the beginning of the program.

Dietary Needs

The Abode offers healthy meals which include organic produce from our farm during the spring, summer and fall.  If some or all of the participants in your event have special dietary needs, we can accommodate the most common special diets, such as wheat and/or dairy free, gluten free and protein rich.  If we are unable to fulfill your specific dietary needs, one of our guest houses contains a kitchen where food can be stored, refrigerated or lightly cooked.  We will do our best to serve what your group needs. Special dietary requirements need to be communicated to the Abode 30 days before an event.
