Why Aramaic? It is the language that Jesus spoke, anything that Jesus (Yeshua in Aramaic) said was in Aramaic. Through the work of Neil Douglas-Klotz, we can experience a fresh, healing, life affirming breath, without the dualism and patriarchy that some of us may have experienced previously. Delving into the meanings, using the words as chants, songs, body prayers, dances becomes a deep life affirming practice. This has been part of our practice since the early 2000's. We will meet in Fattah, in the family room. - with Amina Silk and Arif Lenninger. Bring a dinner for yourself for after the program, if you’d like.
Join us for a heartwarming afternoon Kirtan. Join the music, the friends, and the community. This is held in the Meditation Hall.

The Dances of Universal Peace and Walking Concentrations are spiritual
practice in motion. Drawing on the sacred phrases, scripture, and poetry of the many spiritual traditions of the earth, the Dances blend chant, live music and evocative movement into a living experience of unity, peace and integration. This taste of our true nature - as Universal Peace - opens to the possibility of a deep spiritual revolution within the person.
Dear Women,
Please join us at the Abode this Sunday for some singing! We will continue with a co-led experience, where whoever feels called, will share a song/chant for us all to learn and sing together. This sometimes includes rounds and getting creative with harmonies, but really it's about being together in-person and having fun. We will sing for about an hour and then have some time to be together for anyone who wants to stay and connect more.
This is a child-free space for all who identify as women. Feel free to spread the word!
Suggested donation of $5-$15 will go directly to the Abode for use of space.
